The moon is roughly a quarter of a million miles from Earth. Light speed is about 186000 miles per second

250,000 miles / 186,000 miles/sec = 1.344 seconds

Distance from Earth to the Moon: 384,403,000 metres (average, its on an eliptical path)
Speed of light: 299,792,458 m / s

So do 384403000 / 299792458 and you get 1.28 seconds.
