Some of you need to get out more if you think your choices are "greatest film of all time" but at least no-one quoted "Ishtar" LOL.
Of course everyone has their opinion of what constitutes great but come on a few of you need to watch more films.
I don`t personally have an opinion on what is the "greatest" and put no weight on opinion-polls but where are films such as :-
"It`s A Wonderful Life" , "Ben Hur" , "Spartacus" , "The Greatest Story Ever Told" , "The Robe" ?
Where are modern greats like :-
"E.T." , "Alien" , "Aliens" , "Deliverance" , "The Longest Yard" (1974) , "Schindler`s List" ?

If you have never seen the Ten Commandments with Heston,
then you have never seen a really great film. Amazing graphics
for the 50s. Seeit on a DVD for color that is absolutely
wonderful.

Hey Levi,
That's a very subjective one. Yet, I can mention some good ones:
High and low (Akira Kurosawa)
Rear Window (Alfred Hitchcock)
2001: A Space Odyssey (Stanley Kubrick)
