1977 Chevette in 1994! This car was so underpowered, and had such a bad oil leak it changed its own oil. The brakes only worked half the time and I even broke a spark plug in half one day going down the highway. Good times!

My first car was a 1939 black 4 door Chevrolet. Straight in line 6 cylinder, 214 cubic inch. Three speed standard shift. It cost me $200.00 I was 16 and earned the money by mowing yards and painting names and address on mail boxes. I also got $5.00 for my bike. I had it for a year and traded it for a 1949 gun metal blue 2 door fastback, at a cost of $100.00. The 1949 Chevrolet turned out to be one of the best cars I have ever owned , and I've owned 12 cars to date. I now drive a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina, another good one.

1973 Mercury comet that was halloween orange with no front bumper till I bought one later from the junkyard. Good running car, but stuck out like a sore thumb. Only 400 dollars :)

LOL - Toyota Paseo back in high school. Believe it or not, on our way to my HS graduation, I was able to fit both my parents, my two brothers, my sister, my boyfriend and myself in that tiny car! It was hilarious yet embarrassing cause people were looking at us with amazement when they saw 7 people get out of it one by one. Kinda looked like that scene from Family Matters!
