I DO! Luckily I found that in my fiance, he IS my best friend! Actually in my opinion he is my only friend, because he is the only one that I fully trust, everyone else is really just an acquaintance! In my experience girls are jealous and will back stab you, or **** your man in a heart beat if she had the chance! And most guys pretend that they are really your friend, but they are usually just waiting on the right weak moment to try and get some *** from you! And I'm 24, by the way!

YUP!! I had so many bad experience with my former bf that it isn't funny! She's slept with 2 of my cousins (they are brothers), kissed a guy I was kinda dating (DIRECTLY after she had sex with his cousin in the next room), then tried to get with my boyfriend (who told me about it). Sometimes it's so hard to be friends with other females because they can be so competitive and ruthless. A friend is someone who is there for you when you aren't at your best. They try to take those weaknesses and help you improve, which is why I stuck by her when she made all these "mistakes". A friend is going to let you know that you were wrong but love you anyway. No one is perfect, but these things should be reciprocated!! Give and take. But enough of my rambling....

I wish I had new best friends. Mine are guys I didn't really like in highschool and college. All my orginal best friends are long gone away from where I'm at. Luckly some of my college friends still live around here. I just can't trust them in telling them my problems because then everyone knows them.

Oh yes, at 34 I have been burned so many times that I just don't trust anyone anymore. I consider my daughter my best friend, but I can't tell her things that I want to because I don't want her to know some of the ways I feel about her dad. I am with you girl. If you ever feel you need to vent, holler at me. jen102us@yahoo.com
You know I can't tell your secrets, I don't even know you...lol

maybe your expectations are too high and you just need to mellow out and accept people for who they are "true friendship" is achieved when you have been tested through your differences and still managed to survive with a better understanding of each other.
