There's no such thing as a gardener snake. But if you're referring to garter snakes then yes and no. Some garter snakes are considered rear fanged snakes. They have a little bit of toxicity in their saliva that helps them kill their normal prey of slugs fish and frogs. But being rear fanged they have to chew it for a while before the saliva gets to the prey. They are not venomous to the point where they are harm full to humans. If been bitten by garter snakes several dozen times and I've never had a problem. Some people complain of an itching or other discomfort after a garter snake bite. This is rare though and probably is more due to the person having some type of allergic reaction to the saliva rather than the toxicity. Also snakes are reptiles and reptiles do not carry rabies.

They are not poisonous. I've never heard of a snake having rabies so I can't answer that. Still it's not a good thing for a snake to bite you. You just don't know if the bite will become infected somehow.

Garter snakes are nonvenemous and no reptile can contract rabies because it is a disease that sticks to mammals and cannot be passed on to reptiles of any sort. Also I have never heard of a poisonous snake. Venomous yes, poisonous no.

Reptiles such as snakes can not get rabies as they are cold blooded, which means there body temp is the same as it is outside and changes when the temp goes up or down, rabies can only survive in warm blooded mammals were the body temp stays the same such as in man or warm blooded animals. B ut a bite from venomous snake will indeed ruin your day for a long time and you will wish you were dead.....

No, garden snakes are harmless and beneficial. They eat pesty insects like grasshoppers and other pests like mice.

No snake or other reptile (cold-blooded animals) can carry rabies. Only mammals (warm-blooded animals) carry rabies.

Garden snakes aren't poisonous and I don't believe you can get rabies from them. You can only contract rabies from warm-blooded animals.

"Garter", not "gardener".
"Poisonous", not "poisiones".
"Rabies", not "rabbies".

Learn to use the "check spelling" feature. It will make you appear to be so much more intelligent than you really are, and people may actually start to take you seriously.
