When I was in grade school, there was a book that was always in the classroom, it was called "the five chinese brothers". I remember one could stretch his neck or body, one could swallow the sea, one had a neck made of steel so he couldnt be beheaded.. I cant remember the other two... this is a trivia question at work..

Five identical brothers have remarkable talents: one can swallow the sea, one has an iron neck, one can stretch and stretch his legs, one cannot be burned, and one can hold his breath indefinitely. Somehow, the first one's talent gets him in serious trouble and someone is trying to put him to death but because his brothers help him, he is able to live through each dangerous task. They all have remarkable attributes that come in handy. It's a good book, I loved it as a child :)

The first Chinese brother can suck up all the water in the sea. The second brother’s neck could not be cut off. The third Chinese brother cannot sink. His legs can stretch like he’s growing taller. The fourth one cannot get burned. The fifth one can hold his breath all night and day.

It may be an adaptation of the classic story of "The Ten Brothers" in which a woman who swallowed ten magic pearls from the sea gave birth to ten sons each with an ESP ability.
The 1st son has Six Million Dollar Man's eyes
The 2nd son has Bionic Woman's ears
The 3rd son has Hulk's great physical strength
The 4th son has Superman's bullet-proof body
The 5th son flies like Superman
The 6th son has a head as hard as the Thing's.
The 7th son has legs longer than Yao Ming's.
The 8th son can dig through the earth
The 9th son has a very large mouth (I am not sure how special it is except for eating)
The 10th son can deafen your ears when he cries
The story has been remade into movies and tv series from time to time. A recent tv remake is quoted below.

dude that book was awesome i still have a copy of it from second grade..the other two are can not be burned and the other one could hold his breath.
there was another book that came out after this one called the seven chinese brothers. it's basically the same but a more elaborate story. but they are both very good.

That book was great! I remember that book very well.
One could hold his breath indefinitely.
I think the other could withstand extreme heat. (they put him in a fire)
I'm 90% sure on those 2...hope it helped.
