i subcribed to an internet text messaging service. tried to unsubcsribe by replying STOP. it doesn't work for me and its eating away at my phone credit each time i top up.

What are you getting? Like ringtones sent? Jokes? Trying texting "STOP JOKES" and replace jokes with whatever service you are getting. Some of those nasty places like to make it difficult by adding extra words to text. I hope that helps you out!
If it doesnt. Go to the site and see if there is a support line or some contact information. I actually had the same problem once and I rang them up saying that I had texted stop and it wasn't working. I actually got my money that was chewed up refunded.

one of these should work...It's a pain tho, and most of the cell companies won't help you out....the only thing they'll offer is either a texting plan, or a total blocking of all texts.
and don't subscribe to any of those services in the future, most of them are just rip-off artists..

Ring up your service provider and tell them.
They are providing you a service, and you are pay for it
So they are working for you.
