I think I am missing the "car" aspect of it, but it sounds neat. How would you propel the canoe, though? With a padlle? It would be cooler if you could propel the canoe by pedaling like you do on the bike- make the pedals swing up into the canoe and pedal and have the chain spin a prop.

LOL! It sounds a bit awkward to be honest. And what happens if it rains? Wouldn't the canoe fill up with water???

You should have wheels on the inside and outside of your canoe, so it will float. The propulsion could be handled by magnetism perhaps so that no wheels inside would have to be outside and vice versa, or you have a pole that sticks through part of the plastic mold so that it could interface with inside and outside wheels.

Would be good if one lived near a body of water with a biking trail.
Could this thing fit in a car?

not a bad idea though you would have to work out some bugs in it,i mean the issue of speed was my first fault with it,yet saving our precious resources is a goal it is good to think of an alternative.

It's creative but I think I would look dumb riding something like that. Just being honest! Keep getting ideas and being creative. :)
