My partner has an affair awhile back. After the yelling and screaming was done, I agreed to meet with the Other Man at a local bar. We both got drunk wound up back at his place proving who was the biggest and who was a better lay than the other. Afterwards we beat each other up and I went home. Was this a particularly strange thing to do?

Not really. You were reacting to the hurt you felt and proving to yourself and each other you were better then the other man. Happens some times.

Does seem to be a very imature thing to do. If you do have a secure relationship this event would have not never happened.Not sure how old you are, but one of you 2 needs to grow up and be in control.

you have degraded yourself more than you ever could-
clean yourself up, get out of this situation, stand up, and be a MAN. You have become a toy, a plaything, a wench, to both of them. Stay clear of them and find someone who loves you and watches over you- you have obviously earned the title of a wanton, which you must work hard to shed.
