Oh hun, it sounds like you are just pooped out which is completely natural!!! I mean, after all, you are a mum to 2 little balls of energy!!! You are probably always on the go and naturally you are going to feel tired!!! Heck, I only have one child and I swear she WORE ME OUT! I don't think there's anything wrong with catching up on sleep, because your body is probably screaming for it! Don't worry, it'll get better!
In the meantime, take some good multi-vitamins, drink plenty of water, get some fresh air when you can and continue being a good mum! :)

I never had time to nap.
But then, I didn't have any help in the home, either, and I raised 6 kids.
How much sleep are you getting at night? If you are getting 8 hours of sleep at night, and with having help at home, you just might be so bored that you have created a habit with the nap to escape the boredom. If so, you can break the habit over the course of a couple weeks if you desire to do so. Find a new hobby to occupy some of your time.
If you are getting 6 hours or less of sleep at night, you need the nap because you aren't getting enough sleep.

Girl, don't deny yourself those scrumptious naps. It might run in the family because my two brothers and i love our naps. Our dad was a napper. My mom and my sister,,,,,,,,,, wide awake.
I crave sleep during the day and sleep well at night. Everyone just has different needs.
I'm 41 and have an 11 yr old and an 8 yr old. I have no depression just love my sleep!

There's nothing wrong with an afternoon nappy!
I take one every day at 2 or 2:30, I close my office door, put my phone on "hold calls" and take the pillow out of the bottom drawer.
There's that Seinfeld episode, where george has the carpenter build him a "nap cave" under his desk...I long for that!

I think you may have postpartum depression, since your youngest is 8 months. That to your doctor, and try vitamins to get you energy level back up. God bless and Good Luck
