It depends what you are planning on majoring on. Of course "LA Sorbonne" is very famous and very old and has lots of history it is situated in the "4th arrondissement-5th" which is located in a good area by the Luxembourg park by the Seine (the Center of Paris). At Sorbonne you can major in anything from languages, law, economics, philosophy, and more but not medicine unfortunately. There is also university Paris V Rene Descartes which is well known for medicine and all which is also located near "La Sorbonne". If Paris fits you I would go LA Sorbonne. If Paris doesnt fit you I would go to Montpellier, south east of France. This is a small city consisting of 200,000 people. Half of those people are students. The reason for this is because Montpellier is a city of universities. There are universities every where from 20-40. It also has 8 hospitals in the city and is one of the best place to do medicine. People around Europe go to Montpellier to have surgeries and get taken care of. Montpellier has a great atmosphere and it feels very young when surrounded by all these young people. Other than that the location is good also because it is 5 miles away from the beach. the weather is good and always hotter in the south of France. PLus there is a tramway to bring everywhere you want. The metro in Paris is really good for transportation. It is up to you. There is also Lyon, Marseille, Nimes but i would choose Paris for experience and location followed by Montpellier.
