I have a freind who helped me alot in the past few years. I would like to give him something as a token of my appreciation for all the good things that he has done and still doing for me. But he has everything, so what do I give him! He does not need money, he has plenty of it. He does not need a car, cloths, watch, he has it all, so I don't know what to give him! Any smart suggestions!

Why does he have to need what you give him? Give him something you think he will enjoy.

Friends mostly appreciate things from the heart....my suggestion would be to write him a long letter on beautiful paper telling him how much his friendship has meant to you all these years. Then you could just buy a "small" gift (example: a tiny keepsake, for instance if he likes golf, cars, travels - whatever his passions are) a little trinket of somesort.

I have a friend just as you are describing. For Xmas I had no clue what to get him. So.. I searched the internet for a nice fitting friendship poem that had all that I ever wanted to say in just the right words. I copied the poem.. printed it on elegant stationary from my computer and matted it and framed it. He received my gift and had tears streaming down his face. It touched his heart and that to me was worth more than any gift I could ever buy him. He displays his poem in his living room for all to see. Good luck.

Well if he is a good friend, and had everything, to him it wouldn't really matter what you give him. The point is to give him something that says thank you for everything hes done for you..Like I said if he is a good friend he wouldn't judge you of what you give or do for him.

Do you have a great photo of the two of you? Frame it...that would make an awesome gift!

do something that takes more time then buying a gift - spend the day together, go someplace he wants to go, or just be there for him like he is for you - that's worth more then spending money..

Your company , something that you yourself have created that could remind him of your friendship, a creative photo collage. he couldn't have one of those.
