It has been written that they have speed limiters to cut out at 187mph

Sport Rider magazine tested it to 188-mph. The first series of unrestricted Busa's were fast, but the Kawi is quicker. It's thrust load is unbelievable. Too bad it weights so much.

About 180+ mph. I know that my 2001 ZX-9R does over 170. But who drives that fast anyway?
