i think they think they are...they act like they are still in high school trying to do "cool" things in order to fit in...many don't pass into adulthood...

well... to piss off the conservatives this much... they must be doing something right?
I mean conservatives think that they are the bane of satan...
but, to be honest for a second, politics has little to do with being "cool" and a lot to do with "doing what you think is right"
there are many more young conservatives around today than there were 10 years ago... it seems to be cool to be either one...
I guess in a way though... being cool is "going against social norms"... and since the president and congress are "conservative" (I use the term lightly with them)... it COULD be thought by some to be cool to go against the current norms by being a liberal...

That's not an honest question. "Coolness" is highly subjective. It has nothing to do with one's political persuasion. The one thing, has nothing to do with the other.

I think they do think they are. Perhaps a better way to put it would be "fashionable." Like it's fashionable to dislike the President regardless of what he does or doesn't do.
