Yes, you can feel that way. After having my son I knew I wanted another baby... and when he was 7 months, I started trying for my second... (and happy to say that I'm expecting). It's the reason you want another child that has me sort of puzzled. I wanted a second child to give my son a sibling to grow up. If you have a second baby... what happens when that one grows up too? Are you going to keep having them so that you have someone cute & cuddly? Children are alot of work, and I hope you go into this with eyes wide open. You should also take into consideration that when you have your second child... you won't have the same kind of time to cuddle and ogle him/her. You'll be too busy chasing your son all over the place. I think it's great that you want another baby so quickly. Just make sure you understand all that's coming with them.

It is very possible. If you start trying to have another one, it could take a few months to get pregnant. Also, you would have another 10 months (40 weeks) even after that. So, your 6 month old would be well over a year, probably over a year and a half by the time the baby gets here. My sister felt that way when her baby started to grow up. But they couldn't afford another one right away. However, now her first baby is 25 months old and she is almost 3 months pregnant and is so happy. If I were you I might wait a little while. My neice is almost potty trained so my sister won't have 2 babies in diapers when the next one comes along. That is something to consider when planning a family. Multiple kids in diapers gets very expensive and time consuming.

I am going through the exact same thing! My daughter is six months old, and she is just the cutest little fart! What a sense of humor they have at this age, it's unbelievable. I have been thinking alot about more babies lately, but then I see myself in the mirror and remember that I still have 15 pounds of baby weight to lose! And I think my husband and I need a little time to recuperate after this last year because it's been a pretty busy one and my body is still pretty tired! I think I may try to have another one next year, though. I think 2-3 years between children is perfect!

My two kids are 17 and a half months apart. Believe me wait a while. You need to remember how much of your time a newborn requires, especially if you plan to breast feed. When my second daughter was born I was very happy, however, I did not sleep more than an hour a day for the first three months. With postpartum blues I felt very guilty that I was not their for my eighteen month old. If you have the option to wait I suggest you do it, at least wait until your little one is walking, because its extra hard to carry around a little one when your pregnant with another one. Those were the times when my back hurt more than I could ever imagine. My oldest didn't walk until I was 5 months pregnant with my second one.

Yes, you can really want another baby now. If you can afford it and you don't mind having two in diapers, close together in age, and your physically ready to have another baby then I say go for it!
I have a four year old and a 7 month old...not that I really wanted my children that far apart...it is just the way life worked out. I really wanted another baby soon after my first one was born.,...and still really wanted another when we were finally able to have her. However I do feel like I really got to enjoy my little boy for 3 1/2 years though. My husband and I want one more to complete our family, and will start trying shortly after he gets back from Iraq.

Of course you can! Your feelings are real but you really need to think about what having another means.
It took a year and a half to get pregnant with my son. When he was nine months we decided that we should probably start trying, as we wanted our kids to be 2 years apart and it took so long to get pregnant with him Well, as luck would have it, I got pregnant within two months! What a switch from the first one!
My kids are 19-months apart. It was very difficult at first, but if your heart is in it and you truly want another one... go for it!

Some people really do want another one. The feeling of holding and cuddling your baby is great... But to tell you the truth the feeling will most likely pass. But hey, If you want another one and you think you can handle 2 (its not as easy as you might think) I say go for it.

It'll pass, come back and then pass and come back again... Most women love FEELING and BEING pregnant. As kids get into the difficult stages and ages (Like two) you smack yourself for thinking you would ever do this again...
and then, just like that you hear a happy little pitter patter and get a drive by hug you never expected, for absolutely no reason and look down and see these fat little cheeks and smiling eyes looking up at you and you think to yourself... I want a hundred more!
You go through phases... I'd wait for your body to fully recover first though.

It is understandable... My son is now 3 months old and I miss my pregnant belly so much!! I remember how great it felt when he kicked and moved ... I don't know if this feeling will pass...
... and I feel just like you... I already want another one... But I know having another one at this moment is not the best thing to do... Maybe when he is 1yr

I have a 10 month old girl and I have wanted another one for about 5 months now. I am trying to hold back because I know how hard it will be, but I don't know how much longer we (my hubby and I) can wait!! Good luck!!
