I went to the store today to look at webcams, and they all said they were for PCs only!
Aren't there any cams I can buy to use with my Mac??!! (I have an iBook G4). Where can I find one??

OMG...the iSight is so expensive!!
$150 for a cam??
Wal-Mart sells cams for PCs for just $20!!!
How much is the Logitech? Do all Logitechs work with Mac, or just some?

Here are webcam Q&As on the Apple Discussions pages that might help, also:

My friend had a Mac OS X Tiger and there is no software that is compatible yet with it. Here are some webcam that I know of that is compatible with yours:
Apple ISight Webcam http://www.apple.com/isight/
QuickCam® for Notebooks Pro
Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000
*You can get those on eBay or Amazon for cheap, or just go their original website.*

Once you get that webcam or something else, here is what you can use-What you can use is something called Mercury Messenger. Mercury is a Java-based MSN and Jabber client. And it has USB webcam support for the Mac or a site called ispq http://www.ispq.com/ I am not too good with computers, good luck. Hope this helps.

I'd suggest iSight. But of course, that will set you back more than a hundred. There are other solutions. Apple.com has a page called Made4Mac. I tried, but can't link to the search page. My next best link is to here. Just select 'Digital Cameras (webcams and video conferencing)'.

This page doesn't offter links or images of the product, unfortunately, but you can try searching for them. Hope this helps.

I-Sight is the Mac Standard. Logictech also makes a cheaper but compatible cam.
