Personally, I prefer that the seat and the lid are down when it is not in use. I put the lid down when I'm done. I think that it is silly for women to get all upset about the seat being up. I think that it is the users responsibility to check the toilet before using it. There could be a snake in the toilet or something. One shouldn't just blindly plop down on the throne without checking it first. It really is not that difficult to put the seat down. This is a non issue for me.

well the seat is always down or every girl will fall in it but since the guy puts it up he should put the sit down

because when us ladies have to run to the bathroom in the middle of the night with the light off we really don't want to fall into the toilet. so we would really appreciate it if you put the seat down for us when you are done doing your business

its called being polite try putting yourself in your sig others position do you think you would want to sit down on a wet toilet seat and if you lifted it up to P**s then just like you clean up behind yourself the proper thing to do is put the seat down plain and simple.

I can see the guys point of view, he has to lift it every time,
It really doesnt bother me either way, and as for having to touch the seat to put it down, well you should wash your hands after peeing anyway.

Because you don't want to have to deal with us nagging you. Quit whining and just do it. It wouldn't hurt if you tried cleaning the toilet once and a while also.

You should keep the toilet closed when you are not using it anyway. Do you really want to make an issue out of this? You are going to exhaust yourself if you want to fight every small fight.
