I am 16 years old. I started my period going on 4 years ago. They have always been regular until this last July. All of a sudden, I havent been having my periods. I have still had that clear ovulation discharge stuff (thats what my mom said it was) but I havent had my period. My mom says if my period doesnt start soon, I will have to go to her gynocologist. I really dont want to do that, becuase I am still a complete vigin and I dont like the idea of someone poking around in me. I am very uncomfortible even thinking about that happening to me. I havent been under any stress that I am really aware of, I have been in summer vacation. The only thing that changed in me is getting my braces, and i lost like maybe 5 pounds, but I have gained that back now. Otherwise, nothing has changed in my life except going to a new school. And even if it was the stress from going to a new school, wouldnt I have started by now since school has already started and I am not stressed at all about it?

Once a girl gets her period she should regularly go to a gynecologist. Virgin or not you need to stay healthy and you need to be examined. Even nuns need to get examined. As a female we can get cancer to a simple infection in our reproductive system. You need to get checked out.
