the medical term is nasal mucus

I would just call it nasal discharge.
(I still like the word Booger better though) !

I don't know, but it reminds me of a funny story. I was visiting my brother and his family a couple of years ago and I took my niece out one day. I grabbed my purse and turned to her and said, "Let's boogie!" She looks at me like only a five year old can and says "Aunt Christina, Mama says you don't say 'boogie'. You should say 'mucus'." So I say, "OK, let's mucus!"

Two years later, she still says this and my sister in law still hasn't forgiven me completely.
