great sport...went skiing every weekend when i was in college and that moment when i figured out how to keep my skis together while going down the hill was heavenly

Born and raised in Tahoe. Worked on the mountain all my life. Two plankers are the true riders. Its all about enjoying the mountain. People need to understand if there wasn't skiing there would be no snowboards and if there was no snowboarding, all us skiers would still be on 210 cm skis with no park to play in. So yes I love to ski, I love the mountains and most of all I love snow. even yellow.

Skiing is by far the best sport out there and clearly superior to snowboarding.

I'm a totally mad for it skier.......I've done 49 weeks in ski resorts, and have already booked five more for next year. I will be skiing in Zermatt, Switzerland next January......care to join me?

me me me !!..but once when i was first learning i was like 10 and tryed to go donw a really steep mountain in maine and didn't know how to stop and my aunt was way behind me so i tryed to stop by kinda sitting down [[really falling backwards]] and i kinda rolled down the kill doing flips & tumbles alot of the way down until i crashed into a tree...i wasn't really hurt but then there was a snowboard trainer guy who saw and thought ii was a boy & sed "get up boy you're actin' like a girl" & i was like " I AM A GIRL !" lol then my aunt caught up & i walked the rest of the way down..what an experience.
