YES! Space and it's wonders has always been something I was curious about. I think everything in space, all the heavenly bodies, are beautiful. There is so much we can learn and so much to discover. It would be the chance of a lifetime! I would try to do some scientific research or keep a diary since the government spent so much on the shuttle I would treat it as a learning experience. The thing I would look forward to the most would be looking at the earth from God's point of view. It would be a turning point in my life and a moment I would remember forever.

If I got a chance to go on the Space Shuttle, I'd go in a heart beat. Why you ask. For the thrill of it all. I'm on the top of the world, looking down on creation, and there before me is the face of god, a tear comes to my eyes, as I see what he has seen for years, the destruction of man.

I love space, but the shuttle would probably blow up and I would be engulfed in flames...shortly before I blast into little atomic bits and debree... upon this, I would then meet my Maker.
But in all seriousness....
I would try the new safer Spacecraft the CEV, similar to the old capsules, except bigger and with todays best supercomputers, and not the memory of a calculator that was in the Apollo missions. THis is All NASA's new plan... so by 2012 we can go to the International Space Station, then to the moon in 2018.
I may be involved in the manned mission to Mars, who knows...
God bless you and yours

No thanks. My personal experience with flite has proven to me that, if I need to fly, it will be in a regular suit & tie, without oxygen tanks, helmets & the risks involved with NASAs ability to send me further than I need to go, for longer than I want to be away from tera firma! It's dangerous, stressful, aggrevation enough on any commercial flite. It's not that I'm really scared, it's merely good sense. Why would you want to place yourself in a position which is so very uncertain & certainly 'at substaintial risk'!? I'm not going on any ocean cruises either! You can have ALL the shuttle [& ship] spots reserved for me!!

Sure, I'd love to go and experience it. But it'd have to be free.'
