how much horse power does a nextal cup car have compared to a irl car or a cart car?

Getting actual horsepower numbers is difficult, but it is rumored that Cup cars are over 800 hp, IRL and Formula 1 engines are rumored to be 700 to 750. From all the current info I can find, that means that Cup cars have more horsepower than any other car this side of drag racing. Who would have ever seen that coming?

800 Hp for the nextel cup.not sure about the indy or cart car.
