What did you think? I'm about to watch it, am I going to end up wanting to sleep with one eye open? Gore does'nt bother me, but i'm a big baby when it comes to anything with a concept that is or is meant to be scary. I have a real problem, I saw the Hills Have Eyes which did'nt scare me in the least but that one night I was creeped out and fine afterwards.

Actually, I thought it was funny, but that guy that looked like Oli was creepy, I stopped getting all smart *** about there, cause I thought this is tame what's the rest of it going to be like. But it was a Quentin Tarantino movie so I figured it could'nt possibly be so bad. But anyways back to the point I was laughing my *** off when that guy started having a full conversation with the guy who survived, that was Quentin Tarantino humor. And the part where he had to cut off he eye made me laugh too, cause it was a little......idk but I found it funny. I'm not effected by gore just **** that jumps out. Good story, but it was alright.

I thought it was gory but it was more of the concept that stuck with me than anything bloody. The fact that some people in the small poverty stricken European countryside are willing to do anything to earn money, combined with all of the sick people out there... this movie made me think that something like this could really happen and that was the most scary part.

The movie is more gory than scary. You're not gonna get scared from this film. You might cringe or have the urge to throw up, but you wont have nightmares.

Also, the first half and scond half of the movie are two different movies. The first half is like Eurotrip and the second half is like Cabin Fever.

It's very boring and pointless up until the blood and gore scenes start. They're the only reason to see the movie.

DO NOT watch Hostel. My friend and I went to see it and we can't even say the word anymore. We ran out of the movie theater completely freaked out. That is the worst, scariest movie I've ever seen and I'm not scared easily. It had no plot, just random slaughter and torture. And it has so much tension. Its like your all freaked out but nothings happening! ARRG!
At the very least, if you do see it and it scars you forever, have someone watch it with you. Maybe you won't have a seizure.

I really liked the movie. It just seemed to hit on some dark human emotions really well. It was believable horror.

for the first hour it seems like a cheesy 'adult' movie. The last 30 minutes is when it gets really good
