Express mail and some priority mail packages are delivered on Sunday. Around the holidays just about anything could be delivered on a Sunday, especially perishables.

Actually, if it's paid for as next day delivery, USPS WILL deliver it on a Sunday... it's part of the contract..
Otherwise, you don't get regular mail and packages on most holidays, including some regular working people don't get, nor on Sunday..

Express mail gets delivered 365 days a year. Keep this in mind, though: If you need to have something overnighted and delivered on a Sunday, you have to plan ahead on Saturday because most post offices close early on Sat. (if they even open at all).
According to your question, unless the package was sent Express Mail, it will get delivered with the "regular" mail (by your regular mail carrier).
