I lost my true love to drugs...
He went down a path that i didn't want to take...
Its been 5 years...
I am in a relationship....
I just can't stop thinking about him....
My guy wants to get married but I don't know if I am ready....
Is it ok to continue to move forward when your still hung up on your past...

Immortalize your true love on a webblog. Every poem , every song, every detail you can remember.

Then go on, move on and live your life. Blog your present life and be diligent about making your weblog entries.

Sooner or later, you will realize, your life has moved on and your true love has faded into oblivion. Eventually you will find out your true love wasn't so true after all.

Move on, be happy, don't worry.

If it were true love I doubt that he would have chosen drugs over you...sorry, but honestly I don't think you ever get over your "true love" Honey, you need to move on! You said it yourself....that you didn't want to go there. Good for you! You made a choice, as did he.....now go, live free and be happy!

I'm not sure you ever get over your true love. You will always have wonderful memories. But if you are not together, then something went wrong. Remember that your memories will be of the good times and not the bad.

You don't need to get over your true love. If the person is your true love you will end up with them. Just relax live your life and do things you love to do.

No, I don't think so. And that's bunk about "if he were your true love you would still be together". I have a true love I can't be with, only in mail and my heart but, he will always be my true love. We can't control whom we love.
