For the person who asked where you were going to do 149mph, that's not the issue. If your car is designed and certificated with V-rated (i.e. 149mph) tyres, then fitting a lower-rated tyre will invalidate the certification, making the car illegal for road use and invalidating your insurance. Generally a car will have tyres one or two ratings higher than the top speed of the car.

Sorry but I don't think there are any, all sportier cars capable of doing that speed are riding on at least 17" and usually with a Z rated tyre ( 125-130mph )

are you dumb? all bmw's, mercedes', and audi's are electronically limited to 155 mph because of a treaty signed with the german government called the gentleman's agreement. secondly, why did you go for the 330 if you don't care about speed? couldn't the 325i have sufficed for somebody who never plans to go over 80? thirdly, why would you buy a rwd car if you are concerned about snow traction? you need to do your car research bud, your lack of knowledge is killing me here. technically cheap tires will move the car, but they will maybe last you 6 months. 250 is a bit too much, but id say look for some firellis/bridgestones for performance or good years/michellins for mucking about for something around 150 per tire, and you should be happy.

Go to www.tirerack.com and do the research yourself. They have an awesome site and that's where I shop... plenty of reviews to compare different tires + I usually get my tires drop shipped within a day or two.
