It depends. Do you mean like the computer you are viewing on a the monitor is connected to the TV? Because you could just directly connect the computer to the Monitor. Unless you are talking about the TV to Monitor, as in watching TV on the monitor, it depends on what cables you have/inputs on the TV. Or, if you are saying you want to just watch TV on the monitor, then you can get a TV Tuner with your monitor. THat way you can watch TV directly and easily.

any Best Buy or Circit City should have one or you can shop online sometimes Wallmart has them as well
