Oh yes! The older you get the more you wish you had family around to spend time with. I have lost both of my parents now. My sister lives 6 hours from me so we don't see each other often. At this time in my life I really wish I had more family to communicate with and feel part of.

I am 59, single, living with my single 37 year old son. My grandaughter used to live with me. Now I live with her Dad.
Now she is 16 and hates me. I feel lonesome and it seems to get harder every day. Be thankful for any family
you have. It gets harded coming home from work and no one is ever here.

not if you keep busy.all my pals are couch potatoes and dont want to do much,said they mellowed with age,got married off,got to many bills etc.i just go anyways actually met some fascinating people.
