OK.
This answer is not only for the entertainment of the question asker, but also for the education of all people who got this question wrong because they don't know the Order of Operations.
Let me first explain clearly the Order of Operations.
Parenthesis
Exponentation
Multiplication
Division
Addition
Subtraction,
or PEMDAS for short.
So thus the first step of 15-3(4-2) is the (4-2) part.
1. 15-3(4-2)=15-3(2)
Then you want to do the multiplication 3(2) next.
2. 15-3(2)=15-6
Then since there is only one step left, do it.
3. 15-6=9.
Now really, how hard is that.
THE ANSWER IS NINE(9).

In the proper order of arithmetic operations, you do operations inside the parentheses first: [(4-2) = 2]

Next you do any exponentiation (X^Y). In this example, there is none.

Next you do mutiplication or division in order from left to right:
[3*(4-2) = 3*2 = 6

Finally, you do addition or subtraction in order from left to right;
15 - 6 = 9

So the correct final answer is 9.
