If it's connected by USB Cables, NO, it should not. If it's connected by Ethernet Card, possible.. Some PC's have modem settings and bios settings to Wake On Modem, this could actually start the PC, virus could infect and in turn shut down pc. Nothing is Impossible in Life, Especially these good ole PC's. Good Luck

NO! You must have your computer turned un and log into windows to get infected...but if you have a good antivirus +firewall this won't happen.

No. Without power, you can't get infected. Just remember to keep your firewall software running just to be safe.

Yes, as long as you are online you can be infected. You don't have to be on your computer for some one else to be.

but no if the computer has no viruses and its turned off
