Depends what you want it for. And it depends on your definition of best. EVERY company has a failure rate, and everyone can have different experiences with every company. You'd be foolish to generalize which company is best and which isn't based on one experience or even 10 experiences... you need a LARGE sampling to get a good idea. So, based on that, consult consumer reports.

Best can be a lot o things. It depends on what you will be using the laptop for and what programs you will need to run on it. You may be able to use something simple like a 1000$ note book or you may need something on the higher end of the scale. Besides that every company has problems and faults so it really depends on what you will be using it for.
