Just so everyone knows, if you post an answer that this guy doesn't like, he sends nasty emails. This is the gem I got for posting an answer:

If we are really to rid the world of evil we need to start with the source. and examine why this happened in the first place....
"...can you imagine how many paper coffee cups would have to change their design
following a fantastical reversal of the new york skyline?!
it was a joke, of course
it was a joke
at the time
and that was just a few years ago
so let the record show
that the FBI was all over that case
that the plot was obvious and in everybody's face
and scoping that scene
religiously
the CIA
or is it KGB?
committing countless crimes against humanity
with this kind of eventuality
as its excuse
for abuse after expensive abuse
and it didn't have a clue
look, another window to see through
way up here
on the 104th floor
look
another key
another door

90% metaphor

If Bush is the Saviour, then Johnny Knoxville is the Messiah!
If he was the Saviour he would be saving more lives over here and around the world than ending them in Iraq.
What a day it will be when he'll have to leave office. Bush represents everything wrong with America.

I think he THINKS he is, but I'm afraid he's not doing a very good job of it.
Oh, and to those who feel the question was insensitive to those who died, I would like to say you are maybe the insensitive ones. Like Bush, invoking 9/11 as a defence or for political gain is truly insensitive. For anyone to jump on the sympathy wagon immediately when questions like this are posed is using the deaths of those people to denounce a reasonable question. Nobody is laughing at those who died.

Bush is like Don Quixote. He saw himself as the valiant knight on a white charger (which turned out to be a carthorse).
But Don Quixote's antics were harmless.
It is a pity that one cannot say the same about Bush.

If anything he has made more problems he started of as a good person with September 11th but than hes made things go from bad to worse he say hes fight terrorism but hes causing more but not only in America but in London Madrid, just because there leaders are talking to Bush, let when it comes to voting him out the Americans keep him in, all because some of them are scared of change.
But this is my opinion, each to there own
Sorry about spelling

Bush made a lot of promises, LOL and President Clinton was at ground zero before Bush, he was too busy getting Ladins family out of the states. He had more mercy on them than the families of 9-11! That is my opinion.

Well, answer to your question. I believe that there already has been the advent of the Saviour of the world....so no Bush is not.
But...there is continuity to his reasoning of which you might just be overlooking. There is evil in the world, and there are peoples and groups of people that can be said to be evil. That evil left unchecked and un challenged will grow out of control. Example is the Sudan.
Oh, yes I am an American, but I do understand the necessity to recognize evil. For yoursake and mine, thank God there are those who can see evil for what it is, call it for what it is, and hopefully protect those that are good and innocent from it. And yes, protect and fight evil for those who would deny it and refuse to see it too.
Peace man....Peace
