Find out where to buy picnic style food so you only have to buy one meal in a restaurant per day.
Eating at restaurants which are frequented by locals is cheaper and less likely to get ripped off.
Always try to say a few words in the language of the country and you'll be much better received.
Travel on public transit when it's not rush hour.
Lots of countries have great "charity shops" where new items are sold for charity prices-like the Salvation Army. Some can make great gifts or ssouvenirs.
most on-line reservations for hotels I've seen are quite pricey. Check out pensiones/hostels instead. Lots are more comfortable than hotels too.
Avoid tourist traps.
Wear your money belt or bag across your shoulder.
Figure out the public transit systems.
Always be careful at night in any strange city, especially if you are a woman. Don't have drinks with strangers in strange cities...eventhough it may seem romantic and fun. (Sorry, but am speaking from experience.)

Book with tour group safer and cheaper, when you get to your destination you can go off on your own, Book with one that offers different tours for where you are going that way you have more choices when you get there. Some of the extra tours on your trip cost a bit more. But this way you only pay for what you want to see. If I didn't already have family in Europe, I would buy your book. My travel only cost me the souvenirs I want to buy. My
family sends me round trip plane tickets, feed me, and loan me a car while I am there plus they give me a place to stay, how great is that? I am going to The Netherlands
in January for a two week visit. Good luck with your book. You should also remind people to keep there passport with them at all times. Make copies of important papers, and to leave one copy of everything with family member or friend before they leave.

particular 2 women can circulate on my own, why no longer? The longer the trip, the extra useful the adventure, of direction. Europe is a stunning continent and each substantial city alongside with Paris, London, Roma (etc.) is at one or 2 hours by using airplane from the others. So large. the suitable it to plot each and every thing way in develop so which you will get large bargains. low-fee airlines alongside with Ryanair, Easyjet (etc.) could be very much less costly and you will commute from Paris to London for €20! in case you have extra time (some months), circulate in smaller cities. Paris isn't France and London isn't the united kingdom. So: - get all the paperwork carried out - get as lots funds as you will get (value relies upon upon what you pick to do and notice) - take as lots time as you could take - take it slow to circulate to (Paris or London can't be visited in 2 days) - think of sensible: low-fee airlines, ecu railway tickets, renting a vehicle, couchsurfing, etc.

From a developing country whose currency exchange makes Euro travel costly lifetime dream come true, it helps to pack your own map, films, digital cards, batteries,& dictionaries, even sanitary toilettries bec of the touristic prices of these travel commodities. Best to know beforehand when the Museums & tourist sites "open to the public/free admission" schedules are. with air traveling restricted internationally in terms of luggage, wear clothes that are wrinkle-free & have a mix-match casual/formal attire adaptable to various social occasions.

My only problem are visas. I need a lot of time, nerves and money to get visa for majority of the European countries. It's so frustrating to be treated as a trash. Oh, I can rant about this for half an hour but I have just stopped myself. :) So, I don't need your book until they abolish visas for my country. I wish both of us good luck. :) You, for your book, and me, for my so much needed free travel.
