the easiest way is to coil the wire in a big pile and throw on a little gasoline and let her burn. After an hour or less all the plastic will be gone leaving behind the copper which you can then recycle for cash. It's best afterwards to use a Scott Brite pad to clean up the wire a little more afterwards.
