I wonder if i had a male friend like this would he be okay with it.

Maybe you should pose that question to your husband and then go about getting yourself a 'friend' too and see how he likes it.
NO. this is not OK. and you need to put your foot down and tell him to cut her off NOW.

I'm pretty sure if you had a friend like this your man wouldnt appreciate it,in the first place if she needs a handy man then she needs to hire one instead of calling your Husband all the time by the way where is her man thats usually how cheating starts they are usually JUST FRIENDS and he comes running when she calls you know using the woman in distress thing please stop this unless you are very sure you can trust your Husband in that case if she goes to far not only will your Husband put her in her place but he will tell you that shes tried to come on to him taking his kindness for weakness but if it was me I would politely ask him and also her why are you always calling my Husband when you have a problem hes not a handy man he is a Married man I would ask her whats she up to.

I came across the same scenerio. I'd be very cautious about this situation.

I would be pissed. This girl is taking your husband away from you. Away from your time with him when he isn't working. If you have a child or two, etc., she's taking him away from them as well.

Too feel more comfortable if you want to give your husband the benefit of the doubt, I'd do the following:

1) Pay close attention to your cell phones bills. See how many times and what times of the day/night do they call each other.

2) Same applies with your regular phone bill.

3) Pay close attention to charges on credit cards (ie. bar & grill, when your not there with him).

4) If your really gutsy and still not satisfied with answers, check his text messages on his cell phone while he's in the shower. If he leaves his cell phone with him in the shower, that would be suspicious.

I hope things will work for you, which ever direction it goes.

If she's asking him all the time, then there's something more to it. It is very inappropriate being that he's a married man and he's at her beck and call all the time. It's obviosly bothering you to be asking this question so you really need to let your husband know how you feel about it. If he respects your feelings, he will cease all contact with her. It's probably nothing right now but it is the start of something. Nip it at the bud while it's still early.

I would not be ok with this relationship. I would discuss this openly with your husband,.without making it more than what you believe is innocent. If your husband just wants and feels the need to help her. Offer to go with him and get to know her and just maybe the two you could also become friends. Either way she gets to see that your husband is just a good guy and you are letting her know you are there ,. HIS WIFE. and you having a male friend would NEVER BE OK.

You all must lead a very different life than I do...my weekends are spent fixing my own home, the odds and ends, the shopping trips, the this and that...The co-worker needs to find her own handy man and you need to keep your more busy. She is getting a lot of free help, and I don't blame her for continually wanting it..who wouldn't?? But, it is not going to change until he starts saying, "I'm too busy, sorry." And if he won't say that, then your "Honey, do...." list is not long enough...lengthen it! Good luck

It could be nothing, but ask your husband if he would be ok if a male friend called you like that and wanted you to come over and do things for him. If he doesn't mind then find a friend that you can do things with and see how it goes.

She needs to go to a mechanic and have more class. He should not help her. If he does he either has no backbone or enjoy the fact that she needs him too much. I would make it clear that I did not like it and if it happened again we would have a problem. Women should not ask married men for help. That chatting is an absolute NO.

Fixing things for a co-worker is an excuse for more to happen and a reason to get him over to the house. That I know from experience since a local whore did that to a man I was with.

I would be pissed is this was happening to me....and certainly my husband wouldn't like any male Friend contacting me all the time. I don't know but maybe you should go with him next time he has to "fix' something to this woman, and see whats really going on. trust your gut.

Ahhh this is not good. The next time she needs a handyman then perhaps you should go along. She does not need to be contacting a married man to "fix" things for her.
