I'm mostly looking for ones that aren't thought of particularly as classical music (although those are welcome, too). Feel free to list all your favorites.

I'm sorry to bring up Wales and Welsh culture as the English seem to hate us so much, but having spent a lot of time in Welsh country pubs [especially around the Cardigan area] I have noticed that at the end of the night sees all the locals singing Welsh hymns. One of the most popular is "I Bob Un Sy'n Fyddlon" [apologies for spelling] translated means " to every one that is faithful". it's a very rousing song , and usually gets the choir going. why they need to get leg-less first alludes me, I wonder if they then go to church next morning?

My favorite non-English hymn is the Star Spangled Banner--it's American and it's a song about America and the British, who are English.
