My wife recalls a time when she was young and her father was still alive when he was teasing her about what she wanted to be when she grew up. At the time, my wife was about five years old and she talked and talked to her father about making a lot of money when she grew up. Her father told her that she had to pay taxes. My wife remembers getting very upset that she had to pay taxes exclaiming to her rather amused father that "it's my money"
Her father died six months before we were married and for years after my wife was bothered by his passing. About seven years ago, when our daughter was about four years old, my wife told a group of friends at her job that she would love to get a sign from her father that he was okay. Even though he had been dead for many years, she wanted to know if he was alright.
Later that night, when she was home alone with our daughter (I was at work), my daughter was playing along side my wife in our den. My wife told me that suddenly, our daughter stopped what she was doing and looked over by the sliding doors which were closed and had the curtains drawn. Our daughter never knew her grandfather and only saw pictures of him around the house. She said "Look mommy, there's grandpa." My wife froze and asked "What?". Our daughter repeated "There's grandpa, he's talking to me." My wife looked around the room, saw nothing, and began to get nervous. Our daughter continued "Grandpa has something he wants me to tell you." She said. My wife said nothing, and sat there with her eyes fixed on our little girl. Our daughter looked away, then back at my wife and said "He says, you don't have to pay taxes up here." Then our daughter sat down and continued to play. My wife started to cry and left the room. That little scene, my wife believes, is her sign from her father. She's at peace now because she knows he's in a better place.

My 9 year old son has down syndrome and is speech delayed. He constantly looks around corners and seems to have a sixth sense. He looks in directions as if looking at or for somebody - and of course, no one is there. However, my 3 year old daughter just goes about her business without a care in the world. I think a lot of children have this gift.

Many children see both and a lot more. My 7 mo old great nephew watches all sorts of things fly around the house when I watch him and my grandchildren all have friends they say grown-ups can't see (but Grandma can) I've found that children are much more in tune than many adults.Blessings to you.

We lived in a very old house in Ontario, Canada. We had a very old Italian couple living next door to us and they remember it being a carriage house at one time. Anyways, when my daughter was around 4 or 5, she began telling me stories of people being in her room when she woke up in the middle of the night. I was terrified, but I went along with her, asking her to explain. She told me that it was an older couple in old fashioned clothes, and they just stood and watched her. When i asked what they were wearing she said old clothes, but she could see the wallpaper through them. She was never afraid and I told her they were probably angels watching over her. I never saw anything in the house, and I always felt very comfortable and welcomed in the house.

No, but when I was a little kid, I used to see people in the dark. I still remember how disturbing it was. It went on for several years from about age 4-11.

Yes, and I don't believe it is a 'claim'. The veil between worlds or planes of existence is very thin when children are born. It becomes more blurred as they age, and especially if their vision is constantly belittled.

My mom told me that I could see ghosts when I was very young. I don't remember it though. I sense ghosts more often than I actually see them now that I'm older.

My son and I went to see my mother one time his grandmother and he was walking up the stairs at my moms house and we asked where was he going? Now this took place in 2000. He said he was going up stairs to see grandpa. My dad had died in 1993 and my son was born in 1996 he never even knew about his grandpa. I asked him how did you know about your grandpa he said " Grandpa is standing right there telling me to come upstairs!! My son had never even seen a picture of him and he even described exactly what he looked like!!

My grandson when he was 2 or 3 years old used to see a lady. She gave him good advice like not to jump in bed and be careful. She told him not to talk to us about her. It really kind of gave us chills.
