Not really bad, you just have to remember to take a little time for yourself so you don't have a burnout. It's all about the proper balance.

yes, i was brought up to believe that being selfless was good, and i learned as i got older that giving in to peoples wants all the time only makes them want more, and soon there is nothing left to give. u have to think of the best interest of both.

Yes, the logical extension of selflessness would be to feed canibals by committing human self sacrifice.

Yes, it is. It leads to resentment. I think it is best (for the individual and everyone else) if you are mostly selfless, and OCCASIONLY totally selfish. It's all about the balance!

I believe in being selfish but I don't believe in being selfless.

It really can be, because if you neglect yourself, then you will start to feel pains of regret, and lack of self worth

Depends on what you want. I would say if you are willing to dedicate yourself to others, go for it so long as you can maintain yourself.
