Try hitting the Delete key continuously as your computer is booting up (black screen). If that does not work, read what's being shown on the screen. It mentions what key to hit to access the BIOS. Just pay attention real close to what the screen is showing. The info only gets shown briefly (a few seconds).

Press either F2 or F12. One is the Bios setup menu and the other is a boot menu for the Toshiba.

and if those don,t work try this...
1. Turn on computer by Holding down power button while pressing the ESC key.
The machine will beep, then display:
Check System, then press [F1] key.
2. Release ESC key
3. Press F1 key
