nah, you will be teaching him vakues, he may not be disappointed but he may seek revenge in which you could wake up with a pick axe stuck in your head.

If he's between 9 and 14, yeah, he'll probably know the difference and pitch a fit. If, on the other hand, he's 23 and still living at home, no, chances are he'll never be able to tell one from the other and the Etch-A-Sketch will bring him hours and hours of mindless pleasure.

Well he will be disappointed but children need to learn we can't always have what we want. However I would try to do better than an Etch-A-Sketch unless you can't afford it. You do realize PlayStation 3 is going to be around 500.00 dollars.

Well the PS3 isn't out just yet so if his birthday is before November then he can't be too upset since they aren't out yet. Unless you happen to live in Japan that is.
