Excellent question - I am always losing my temper. Perhaps, for me it would be better to say when have I kept my anger in check. I am an angry person and people get on my nerves. I have a terrible habit of thinking I am always right and superior to everyone. I'm a person who is too sensitive and takes offense easily.

OK, I have given a general answer and you wanted a specific incident. The latest incident was from a person on the Internet who became extremely abusive and bullying, and finally I told him that he wasn't a real friend, that he was selfish, insensitive and I wanted no further contact with him.

But now, here's the part where I kept my anger in check. He wrote back (very nasty, hateful, distorted) and I decided not to respond further. Good for me!

It was about 6 years ago. I was travelling on a bus from George to Johannesburg... (that is a LONG way - basically form the South to the North of South Africa) We have been on the road for nearly 14 hours and it was dark. We stopped at a place where the bus drivers get replaced by two others to take the next shift. This big fat guy got on the bus. I was sleeping in front of the bus and he sat down in front of me and started fondling my ***!! I LOST IT. (still have not found it.)

I spend all week tidying the house and my family just walk in and dump all their possesions down on the floor and walk to other parts of the house. Last thursday morning I stopped them all from leaving the house and took my girlfriends car keys off her (I bought her the car in a vain hope of getting her to turn her ways around, but as you can guess, no such luck). I ranted and raved for 30 mins and everyone promised to change their ways and everything will be different tonight. Tonight came and everything stayed the same. ARRRRRGH!!!

I had a headache, I was under some stress due to my house sale, and my son was bugging me to get off my PC, where I was doing my live draft fantasy football so he could play space invaders. So I said, Ieuan, please play on your X-Box, I am in a stinking mood, I have a headache and I want to be left alone for half an hour to finish this, you can play later. Love you.
Doing Buddist meditation training has helped me a lot in my daily life. Peace

I lost my temper this afternoon with my niece. She is working on a school project and did not putt any effort into it. She basically "copied" the information from a website. I stated to her that she shouldn't have done this and asked if she wanted to "just get by" or did she want to actual put effort into the project. She stated to me that she "wrote down the key points". I state to her that she is plagiarizing the material and I lost it.

you have to kinda visualize this.. I'm sitting minding my own business looking around the room and this guy yells "hey you, you looking at my woman?!"...like an idiot I said "no" ( she wasn't ugly!) Then he says "why AINT she good enough for YA?!" again like an idiot I said "No" (she giggled)
He stood up and headed my way obviously ticked off.. So I stood up.. he walks up and punched me in the face!.. like a moron I said "feel better?". he swung again... I ducked and when he fell forward I grabbed his nappyass head and slammed on my half Emty pitcher of beer.. He went to the floor and I said "feel better now?".. he just spit out a tooth slurred some thing about or For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge of myself.. so I left with his wench... can't say I actually lost my temper.. more like mildly annoyed.. but his chick made it up to me

Two months ago, I made frozen pizza for dinner, and my husband was being an *** about him working all day, then having to come home to frozen pizza. I reminded him that I worked that day as well, and he proceeded to make fun of my job... (hey, it is not my fault I have a great job!). His sarcasm went right through me, so I threw the whole pizza at him and told him to eat sh-t. He picked up the pieces and threw what was left of the pizza back at me, and all of a sudden we both started to laugh-- after a shower and a good bout of make- up sex, we ordered out for Chinese..
