That is too funny, that you asked this. I started shopping today.
Actually, my boys (8-10) decided that this year we would hand-make presents for family members i.e. grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. so we were looking into making, painting and firing pottery, went went and checked out a few places.. I think we are ready to start next weekend.

because of the fact Christ basically supplies you to return as quickly as - no longer two times. He got here to fulfill Scripture, die for our sins, and open the gates of Heaven to those that believe. he will come back to decide the living and the ineffective and instill his eternal Kingdom. Rapture may well be a 2nd Coming between the 1st and the final, and there is no room in Scripture for it. additionally, Rapture theology demands the 2nd Coming to be secret, while the prophecies on the subject of Jesus' 2nd Coming carry it to be quite seen - that he will return in Glory. Rapture theology is likewise a extremely new coaching. till the nineteenth century, no theologian tied the books of Daniel and Revelation to the comparable events. Daniel grew to become into interepreted to predict the fall of the Persian Empire, Revelation the fall of the Roman Empire. Then got here a former accomplice soldier by using the call of Cyrus Scofield who began coaching that heritage is divided into 7 dispensations, who tied the books of Daniel and Revelation mutually and grew to become the coaching American-centric. i won't believe that an eternal God might make an entire e book of His Divine be conscious beside the point for 3,500 years just to without warning make experience to a set of persons living in a land that Daniel had under no circumstances heard of. in short, amillenialism - the perception that Christ will return basically on the top of time, and that there's no "get out of tribulation loose" card for being a Christian, is the perception that makes maximum experience in gentle of Scripture and historic scholarship. It does no longer dispute Christ's 2nd Coming, nor the conflict at Meggido (Armaggeddon), nor the reign of Peace to stick to. inspite of the undeniable fact that it does no longer help a secret Rapture.

Its the "We have to buy everyone big expensive presents and little stocking stuffers" mentality thats destroying christmas little by little every year. Maybe people should try helping others with their problems instead of buying the game boys for the kids and not spending time with them when its not christmas time. Makes me sick. Something to think about.....

I have my Christmas list and have already bought the large presents, just need to get smaller ones for stocking stuffers and rest of gifts that go under tree and at the foot of smaller children's beds.
