Hi - I had a tummy tuck and hip liposuction performed in Connecticut this past July. I paid about $8600, but I FINANCED it through Capital One Health Care Finance, so I'm paying about $180 a month.
Here is primarily how the cost breaks down...1.) Surgeon's fee, 2.) Facility fee based on how long the surgery takes (surgeons don't usually perform a surgery like this in their office! They "rent" out hospital / surgery center space and staff.) 3.) Anesthesiologist fees, which are also based on how long the surgery takes.
Visit a few local plastic surgeons....they will be able to give you specific costs, but it is expensive.
But for me, it was worth it. I had a great experience with very little pain and a quick recovery. But the self-confidence I regained was worth every penny.
Hope this helps, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the procedure!

Prices vary in your area if you are going to a specialist in the field and the like. California prices tend to be higher for example.
Now if you can manage to convince a doctor that it is somehow medically neccesary the price would be far less or nothing if you have good insurance. Most would call it cosmetic and therefore not required

Depends on how many areas you have done. I had lower abs, upper abs and flanks (sides around to back) It cost me $4300, it was about $1500 per area.

In the thousands and it's dangerous. Plus, if you gain weight, you'll gain it in the wrong places and it will look really odd.
Your best bet is to work it off yourself.
