Are you a guy? Guys tend to talk about their feeling less. I don't trust anyone either and am a private person as well, for the most part.

It's because you're not a stupid person. It might be less fun to be smart, and have less people or no people to trust, but at least your personal life won't end up on dateline. Maybe you have had a lot of people say that you can trust them, a lot of people you thought you could trust, who ended up screwing you over? Maybe you're just a more interpersonal person. (hope that's the right word for that...)

I think people who don't trust others are people who can't be trusted themselves. Not to offend you of course, but I've thought about that quite a lot.
For instance, if you have a girlfriend who is always jealous of any other girls who look at you or flirt with you.... don't you always kind of think that maybe she is judging you by herself? A girl who trusts her boyfriend is most often the kind who can be trusted.
So.... maybe you need to take a good hard look at yourself and what you are willing to do for other people. The way to learn to trust others is to be a person they can trust.

is it possible for you to trust God rather than people? or yourself? do you feel that you can work though any problems that life deals you? How about the people that you are close to you, are they trustworthy? If not that may be why.I have been close with family members that are not trustworthy, I trust myself enough to not reveal to them what they could hurt me with.
I also trust that God will help me with my difficulties. I have come to trust a few.

You do trust the people that are close to you. It's you that you don't trust. You are feeling less than secure with yourself and afraid that they will find fault with you.
Probably your feeling are unfounded. It is my guess that you are a perfectionist and place very high standarts upon yourself. Standards that you would never place upon anyone else.

you are afraid of being hurt or misunderstood. if these are the type of people who you'd REALLY trust with your life, then there is absolutely no reason for you to feel that way. feel the fear and talk to them anyway. it may be feel uncomfortable at first, but you'll feel great once you've expressed your feelings.

It could be that you might be really one with yourself, as in you keep a lot solely to yourself and you don't let most people know it, even those who are close to you. So, in putting all of your trust in or to them, you feel like you are going against yourself , making it hard to trust people. Another thing could be that they don't know enough about you to be trustworthy.
^^if any of that makes sense. =]

You don't trust anyone because you have been let down by others in the past. Maybe someone has broke your confidence.

Because people can't be trusted. And if anyone tries to make it seem as though it's YOUR problem, then they are fools.

Telling things about yourself is very personal to you it seems. You dont want to let anyone get that close to you or you them. Talking about feelings is a touchy subject to you. It seems to me that you are just a very private person and you just arent comfortable talking about yourself.
