A witches power comes from within. She/He does not need the full moon or special tools as these are just something to focus concentration on.

Everything is more powerful during the cycle of the full moon,because of the energy in the air. People are also more inclined to do crazy ,violent and stupid things during the full moon.

Strange...I'm a witch yet my IQ is in the upper 130's...much higher then the established IQ for the classification of "Idiot". Maybe the High Priest of my coven (who holds a PhD in Chemical engeneering) can ask his ex-wife (also a witch) when he sees her at the next MENSA meeting if she has ever heard this theory that witches are "Idiots". I'll have to check into this.

We are not more powerfull.. but like the other lady said... there is a different, positive energy you get from a full moon. A lot of "spells" are done best with the Full moon energy. I know we do a full moon ritual every month.. but it does not make us more "powerful".

Lots of Wiccans are stronger in their practices because they generally join together and/or make sure to call a circle during full moon. Practice makes any skill more powerful.

Not more powerful. The full moon lends a different type of energy than the waxing or waning moon.

I am most powerful when I'm at home surrounded by my family. To me it doesn't matter if it is night, day, full, waning, eclipse, or sunny....power comes from within and phases, times, or other stuff just help to add to it when you are in circle. The correspondences are not the source of anyones power or ability. You are!!!!
