Facing autumn. Can you believe it? Here in Maine, U.S.A., this was the first day it felt like autumn in the air (already). I was thinking about getting some terrycloth towels and packing the bottoms of our windows in preparation for winter, doing the final mow of our back yard to mulch up the grass so it would press flat under the winter snows, and a million things all connected to being ahead of the "winter in Maine" thing. I was also looking at how much I actually own which isn't me any more. Can you relate? I mean I have stuff I collected that just looks like it belonged to someone else, I have changed that much. Usually, most people notice that about their clothes. I mean you throw open the closet door in your room and there hangs a bunch of stuff that not only isn't you any more, it doesn't even fit any more neither! I have also been taking a hard look at where my life is going. I am 63 years old, and as you get older, it really pays to have a good idea of where you are aiming yourself. Decisions you make and choices - you try to make sure all your choices are good one, like today I had salad, tea and fish chowder. No soda, no fried anything, &c., and choices like that to make sure you're eating right. Well, you asked what I was doing today, and this sort of scratches the surface. Sent to you from Chris in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A.
