My boyfriends lives 12.000 km away from me, we know each other already for 8 years, we love each other and we want to start a live together. We always talk about marriage and kids, but he has some adaptation problems to society. He thinks that he will never adapt to a "normal" daily live. Starting a real relationship with me (and not a long distance internet romance anymore) would mean that he will need to find a job, besides he would need to learn a foreign language if he came over to my country. We met again after a few years break, on a moment that he was almost gone (physically and emotionally), heading for a his last life trip to the Amazone to continue his life as a solitaire in the jungle. He had always been an adventurer but I made him open his eyes and filled his heart with love again... He never had a real girlfriend besides me... and we both believe that we are each other's destiny...

you need to find out in particular the reasons behind the difficulty he's having.
one key to adaptability is interaction. getting the feel of the environment. he's got to have that. then, he should be willing to exert effort in the learning process. it may not be easy... but if he's willing... that would be a good start.

dont let him lose him spirit , can you jion him on his quest if so do it , he has spirit that cant stay still and if it does it will kill him inside jion him or stay fiends
