I am starting middle school and I want to know if there are any books on being popular and what the name is and what the name of the arthur is,and please don't tell me anything like:being popular is not important.

How to Win Friends and Influence People for Teen Girls-Donna Dale Carnegie is the only book I can think of. Books like The Clique-Lisi Harrison have main characters that are super popular. Act like the girls of The Pretty Committee and you'll rule the school.

I think I can help you...(I'm in ninth grade.)
To be popular...you have to have the right attitude. I've seen some kinda ugly kids or new kids become popular with a day, just because they talk to other kids and have the same attitude as the in crowd. Just talk to some of the kids and get to know them...but don't act mean, or else, people will not like you.

k, well i guess im pretty popular and let me tell you
1) dress in moderation...not too granny, but not too in-style right now...very classy, chic with a modern twist and never SLUTTY
2)always be cheerful and kind to everyone, even the nerds. now some people might tell you not to do this but trust me dont act like youre better than them. because youre not better than anyone. you dont have to be bff with them or anything, just smile at them and if they talk to you respond politely. people looove nice people
3) compliment, but not too much so you seem like a suck up
4)never think youre better than anyone. we're all equal in Gods eyes and well...people hate it when you lift yourself up too much. people love down to earth people.
5) i hope youre funny because im funny and people love me for it. just crack jokes or tell funny stories...theyre insta conversation starters
6) talk to everyone.
7)dont be afraid to call people and say lets hang out! cuz thats how friendships are made
8) you dont need to make best friends with everyone...have a group of girls youre ecspecially tight with and just be nice to everyone else.

and by the way....its AUTHOR. ARTHUR is a show on channel 11.

From a dad of a teenager.
It is far more important to be yourself. People will quickly see through any attempt at you pretending to be what you're not. You will then lose their respect and trust.
Concentrate on what you are good at, and don't try to buy friendship. That way, you will become popular with the people who really matter - YOU and true friends.

u don't need to be popular. what's the point? only pretty girls get to be popular as they get what they want when they want. being popular is not always best

Popular/shmopular, if the kids don't like the real you exactly the way you are, acting like clones of them will only prove to them what a fake you are. Whether you want to hear it or not, being 'popular' isn't important. Having self respect and confidence and being liked for who you are is what matters. That would be the mature way to look at things.

Everyone that wants to be popular, and thinks they are is ridiculous and stupid. Popular people are stuck-up and the always pick on people. Trust me, I was very very popular in elementary school, and it sux!!! So don't worry about being popular, just be yourself and everything will fall into place.

wow, i don't know how many girls have been your position, your parents say just be yourself, and sometime that doesn't seem good enough for other people, popularity is what everyone wants, but few acheive, all i can tell you is that is you be yourself, then you find true friends that will love you for who you are. And i can garantee you it will be the best thing that has every happened!!!
