Yes! Pluto has been called a planet for a long time already, why change it now?

No it's a kuiper belt object they circle the sun spherically bit like putting the sun in the middle of a football. Pluto's orbit is way off the ecliptic other kuiper belt objects orbit even more erratically. Pluto was found way before it's time and is difficult for modern astronomers to see but they now now that there are thousands of Pluto like objects out their.
The earth was once flat, we know different! Pluto ain't a planet deal with it.

Pluto is a dog... ;-)
It's been considered a planet this long, we shouldn't take that glory away from it just cause it's little. Some of the best things come in small packages...

To be honest....why does it matter? What is or is not a planet is just semantics. They proved that by changing the definition. How is the world better off or worse off because Pluto is or is not a planet? I honestly don't think it matters to anyone but the person who discovered it....who is dead. So...it probably doesn't matter.

well yeah, it has been for the past years, and they can't just change it now. all the science books and stuff would have to be updated or changed. and the nine planets that schools taught everywhere would change. and many other things would be difficult and stuff.

totally! They thought everyone that there are 9 planets in this solar system and i think it's just to complicated to have to think of planets, planetoids, and dwarf planets.
