25 pounds in the USA. 30 pounds of gasoline in 4 Imperial gallons (used in Britian and Canada).

"science teacher" has the best answer so far, but two have been right (6#/gallon) and two have been wrong (8#/gallon) and one is out to lunch* so I'll try to be a tiebreaker.

*There are 128 fluid ounces in a US gallon, not 64.

Water is 8.33 pounds per US gallon.

Gasoline is 6 to 6.3 pounds per gallon (it varies seasonally because they vary the formulation).

A gallon of milk weighs 8 pounds, so I would guess it to weigh 32 pounds.
